영광의 빛

‘주의 빛 안에서 우리가 빛을 보리이다’. 온 세상을 따뜻하게 밝히는 빛은 사람의 마음을 움직이는 힘이 있다. 세상의 사물들이 빛과 어우러져 공간적 표현과 기억속의 빛의 색채가 주는 다양한 변화를 통하여 일상 속의 순간들을 자연의 빛, 인공의 빛, 영원의 빛으로 이야기가 있는 그림으로 구성하였다.

시간의 흐름에 따른 자연의 변화를 바라보는 경치를 넘어 자연 안에서 느껴지는 것을 전달하는 ‘자연의 빛’, 크리스탈의 빛과 화려한 색채로 이미지를 재창조하고, 신비롭고 풍부한 빛의 영감을 경험하게 하는 ‘인공의 빛’, 시공간 너머의 세계를 빛의 따뜻한 색채의 잔상으로 재구성한 ‘영원의 빛’은 감정의 파편들을 그려내고 있다.

이번 전시는 크리스마스의 빛과 희망을 선물하고자 한다. 어둠 속에서 하나 둘 반짝이며 점등되는 크리스마스 장식과 도시의 거리의 빛과 공간이 어우러져 희망과 설렘으로 세상을 바라보게 된다. ‘영광의 빛’ 전시를 통해 생명의 근원이시며 빛되신 주께서 고통받는 환자와 가족들안에 거하는 행복한 성탄이 되기를 소망합니다.

In thy light shall we see light. The light that warms and enlightens the whole world has the power to move our mind. Through the infinite changes in the colors of light, this exhibition shows narrative pictures of everyday moments that are constructed into natural light, artificial light, and eternal light.

Beyond the natural changes over time, 'natural light' conveys what we see and feel in nature. 'Artificial light' recreates images with crystal light and vibrant colors, which allows rich and mythical experience to the viewers. The 'eternal light' reconstructs the world beyond space and time with warm colors of light, depicting the fragmented emotions and impressions.

This exhibition aims to present the light and hope of Christmas as a gift to the visitors. We see the world in hope and throbbing heart under the Christmas light and decoration. Through the Light of Glory exhibition, may the Lord protect and bless his patients and their families for a Merry Christmas.
